4x4 Copper & Stainless Steel Fence Caps
Not all 4x4 posts are the same! Be sure to check the size you need.
The most common post size is 3 1/2 inches which would need the Nominal 4x4 (inside dimension is 3 5/8 inch).
If your post is actually 4 inches, select the Full 4x4 (inside dimension is 4 1/8 inch).
If your post is in between sizes, you might either have to use a shim and size up, or shave the sides of your post and size down on the cap.

I got a set of these soon after they were first offered. They’re the easiest part of plant maintenance! Just a quick rinse and they’re good to go (unlike the pruning and cleaning required of the plant itself!). They also last way longer than wooden or resin picks that deteriorate after a year or two! I wish I had made the switch to copper tops years ago, rather than the wooden ones I initially used. Finding the perfect size was a challenge, as many toppers advertised for 4x4 posts turned out to be smaller on the inside. However, I was delighted when I finally found these. I’m thrilled with their appearance!
