We’re excited for Applefest in Franklin, PA next weekend, running from October 4th to 6th, 2024! Known as one of the largest apple festivals in the United States, Applefest attracts over 300,000 visitors each year. With an exciting lineup of activities, delicious food, and over 350 arts and crafts vendors, it’s an event you won’t want to miss—and we’ll be there too! Enjoy the drive into Franklin as the trees begin their fall show!

What’s Happening at Applefest?

Applefest brings something for everyone. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

• Arts & Crafts Vendors: Browse through hundreds of booths showcasing handmade items and unique crafts, perfect for gifting or treating yourself.
• Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances on two stages with music, dance, and entertainment throughout the weekend.
• Antique & Classic Car Show: Car enthusiasts can admire a wide range of beautifully restored vehicles at the car show.
• Historic Tours: Discover Franklin’s rich history with tours of the area’s historic district.
• Apple Treats Galore: Sample everything from apple pies and cider to apple dumplings and fritters.

Parking and Shuttle Information

Applefest is a popular event, and parking fills up quickly! Here are some convenient options for getting to the festival:

• Shuttle Parking: Available on Saturday and Sunday from: 
• Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department (see map below)
• Komatsu’s 120 Liberty St. location (see map below)
• French Creek Productions, 13th St (handicapped-accessible only).
  
  
• City Parking Lots: Many of the local businesses and churches allow parking for the festival. Examples includes the Galaxy FCU Parking Lot and Christ United Methodist, with rates between $10–$20 per day.
