We recognize the importance of these amazing creatures to the very survival of the human race--we rely on them to pollinate our fruit and vegetables, about a third of the world's food supply! With the loss of habitat due to meadow eradication, invasive plant species, pesticide usage, and other reasons, our pollinators face peril. We want to be part of the solution!
For every product sold in this collection, we will plant a native pollinator-friendly plant.
One that has ecologically evolved in our location and so provides the perfect food source for some of our local native bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and other beneficial insects. Examples include Asclepias syriaca (milkweed - a major larval host to the Monarch butterfly during its migratory layover in our state!), Monarda (bee balm), Rudbeckia hirta (black-eyed Susan), asters, and more.

Size and quality is as expected. Color is very nice.
I got a set of these soon after they were first offered. They’re the easiest part of plant maintenance! Just a quick rinse and they’re good to go (unlike the pruning and cleaning required of the plant itself!). They also last way longer than wooden or resin picks that deteriorate after a year or two! As usual, extremely happy with Metal Peddler products!!
I wish I had made the switch to copper tops years ago, rather than the wooden ones I initially used. Finding the perfect size was a challenge, as many toppers advertised for 4x4 posts turned out to be smaller on the inside. However, I was delighted when I finally found these. I’m thrilled with their appearance!
Loved the process of making a custom order, the attention to detail, the willingness to work on changes.
